Topping the Charts

Social gaming giant Zynga has claimed the top-spot on the Facebook gaming chart with ‘Bubble Safari’.

The social network game developer has made big purchases in recent history, most prominently acquiring the hit sensation ‘Draw Something’, and keeps producing hit titles.

‘Bubble Safari’ is a simple concept, taking the arcade game format and applying it to the social side of gaming, and users have popped more than 100 billion bubbles in just a month.

There’s more to this story than the tale of a happy monkey shooting bubbles to get his girlfriend back, however, as Zynga now commands over $600 million in yearly revenue and shows little sign of slowing down soon.

This firm, as do many others, stands as a testament to how much value there is to social media and how much can be gained by working in unison with it.

Whether it’s game development, media campaigns or just keeping in touch with the people who buy the things you sell, social media is the most powerful tool which can be brought to the job.
